How long have you been in business?
I started with Pure Romance in November of 2003.
What is your primary product or service?
I provide personalized, discreet, and educational in-home parties for women. Pure Romance offers a full line of relationship-enhancing products such as lotion, lubricants, heighteners, bedroom accessories, books, lingerie, and more. I am NOT a RETAIL STORE; I go into private homes to do small, fun, educational parties for women. There, my clients can ask me any question they have about their bodies, their intimate lives, and their sexual health.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I believe that all women have a right to free and discreet access to reliable information about their bodies and their intimate lives, and I believe that Pure Romance is the unchallenged industry leader. I did not get into this as a salesperson; rather, I got into it as an experience sexual health counselor and adviser who saw a chance to really help the women in my community. I love what I do. I'm proud of what I do, and I'm proud of the positive impact I have on the lives of my customers.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Unlike our competitors, Pure Romance is dedicated to educating and empowering women FIRST. I've been to my competitor's parties and were disappointed by the lack of training, product knowledge, knowledge of the human sexual cycle, and overall lack of professionalism by the consultants. I don't do "sex toy parties" - I do sophisticated and educational in-home parties at which we have an open, honest, and accurate discussion of intimate products and attitudes. The difference is that I am there to EDUCATE, not manipulate. As one of my hostesses once described it, "You're fun and flirty, but never nasty of dirty. I can't beleive how much we all learned tonight!"
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I am NOT a retail location; I only do in-home parties.

I own my Pure Romance by Dana business and handle all operational tasks myself.
What are your hours of operation?
My hostess sets the party times, so I will be at her house when she asks me to be. For inquiries, to book a party, or to learn more about becoming a Pure Romance consultant, please call between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, any day.
